Is this advertising or sponsored content?
No. Nobody pays us to place these stories and we don't ask you for anything. BLINK Wire is a free supply of news copy written from official government releases. You decide what, if anything, to run.
Who writes the stories? Is it AI?
Each story is rewritten from the official release by our AI-assisted editing pipeline, then checked against the original release for names, figures and dates. Stories that fail the check are not published to the feed. On WordPress new stories arrive as drafts, so your editor reviews them before anything goes live.
Which sources are included?
UK: GOV.UK department releases (each story carries its department). Australia: media releases and statements from the Prime Minister of Australia. New Zealand: Government releases from beehive.govt.nz. European Union: European Commission releases. United States: federal agencies and state governments. Korea: Korean-language stories from South Korean local governments and public agencies.
Can I get only my own country, or only certain departments?
Yes. In the WordPress plugin, tick only the countries you want and that is all you will receive. For the UK feed we can also limit your key to the departments you choose. Just tell us which. There is no topic or keyword filter yet.
Can we edit or rewrite the stories?
Yes. Whether and how you edit is your call. The one condition is that each story keeps the original source and the “BLINK Wire” credit shown in the feed.
Do stories include photos?
Some do, when the official release has one. Image import is optional in the plugin, so you can leave it off and use your own pictures.
What does it cost?
Free for up to 100 full stories a month per key, with no contract and no exclusivity. Listing headlines through the API is free; only stories you pull in full count. If you need more: 500 a month for US$29 (US$290 a year) or unlimited for US$79 (US$790 a year), paid by PayPal.
We're not on WordPress. Can we still use it?
Yes. The API works with any system, and the same key also works with our MCP server for AI assistants. One key is for one site; one account can register up to five sites, each with its own key.
